Wireline Engineering said yesterday it had appointed Donald Mitchell to its board in the newly created role of business-development director.
Mr Mitchell, right, is now back at the Blackburn, Aberdeenshire, firm at which he previously spent 10 years in various technical and sales jobs. He left it to join Welltec, where he was business-development manager for three years.
Wireline managing director Bill Petrie said: “Donald’s combination of technical expertise and market knowledge will further strengthen our ability to develop and extend our range or products and services.”
The company, which specialises in wireline and well-intervention technology, emp-loys more than 50 people worldwide.
