IT WILL be the top event of the summer season and you had better get your skates on as well over 1,000 places have been snapped up for Aberdeen’s first Energy Ball.
The black-tie gathering at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) on Saturday, August 16, is an unashamed celebration of the world of energy. Topping the bill will be the now famous Abba tribute band, Bjorn Again, and Scotland’s Red Hot Chilli Pipers.
The ball will be preceded by the Energy Golf Challenge at Murcar Links Golf Club on Friday, August 14.
Qserv is the ball’s main sponsor, supported by E.ON Ruhrgas and Argon Isotank. Other sponsors are Caledyne, Dominion Gas, Eastern Airways, KPMG, North East Telecommunications and Swellfix.
