AN ABERDEEN-BASED supplier of work-at-height and rope-access-related services, AquaTerra, has created a training director role.
Mark Pearce was appointed to the new position to develop the firm’s portfolio of training courses.
He has more than 20 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry and was previously training centres manager with Petrofac Training.
Pete Robinson, managing director at AquaTerra, said: “Mark’s vast experience in managing training operations makes him a valuable addition to our team.
“Since the introduction of the work-at-height regulations in 2005, our training courses have steadily expanded, and we felt that additional resources were needed to take that division forward and progress our services for clients.
“Our objective is to become one of the premier suppliers of specialist training services to the oil and gas sector and associated industries.”
