OCCUPATIONAL health provider Capita Health Solutions (CHS) has announced the appointment of Helen Stuart as operations director of its Aberdeen-based energy division.
She joins CHS Energy from oil and gas facility service company Petrofac where since 2005 she has held various management roles including global head of human resources.
A fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, she has extensive experience of the oil and gas sector both in the UK and internationally.
CHS Energy, part of the Capita Group, a FTSE 100 organisation employing 23,000 staff throughout the UK, operates from Aberdeen, where it has about 160 staff working onshore and offshore, and a further 13 centres in the UK.
Its occupational health support services include the provision of company medical examinations, emergency medical provision including offshore, and delivery of a wide range of medical training courses.
CHS Energy account director Mike Duncan said: “Earlier this year we reorganised and streamlined the business. With more than 50% of Oil and Gas UK members already on our client list and a turnover of £12million a year we see the energy sector as an incredibly important part of our business.”
“We provide medic training at our facility in Montrose. We are currently finalising the lease on a property in Montrose which will allow us to double the capacity at our medical training unit.”
