Edinburgh-based oil and gas explorer Bowleven said today it was to drill deeper on its latest offshore Cameroon exploration well.
The firm added its Sapele-3 well in the Douala Basin off the west coast of Africa had already found oil and gas and now the firm planned to carry on drilling to a deeper level, at which an earlier well nearby had also discovered oil and gas.
Further drilling is subject to approval by Cameroon’s government.
