THE Aberdeen, Highlands and Islands Branch of the Energy Institute held its annual dinner at the Marcliffe Hotel, in Aberdeen.
Chairman Denis Pinto presided over some 400 guests from all sectors of the business community.
Guests including the Lord and Lady Provost of the City of Aberdeen, Louise Kingham, CEO of the Energy Institute, and Joan MacNaughton, president elect of the Energy Institute, were hosted by the branch and also by the Energy Institute from London.
The two headline speakers for the evening were Dr Tony Hayward, of 3E Capital Limited (and formerly of BP), and the Rt Hon Alex Salmond
