A NEW Aberdeen-based parent for three energy technology providers was launched yesterday.
Tendeka aims to consolidate specialist solutions for increased efficiency in well completions and production. The organisation combines London digital monitoring solutions provider Sensornet, Aberdeen swellable elastomers expert Swellfix, plus Stavanger wireless well communication and downhole instrumentation specialist Well Technology.
Tendeka, through its three subsidiaries, employs 100 people across a network of 18 regional bases, located in energy hubs including the North Sea, Middle East and Asia-Pacific. Further expansion is expected through strategic acquisitions.
Tendeka chief executive Neale Carter previously held the same title at Sensornet. He said: “Our goal is to build a global technology company with quality, breadth of product range, international capabilities and a strong local reach.
“Sensornet, Swellfix and Well Technology are innovators in their respective fields and bring years of expertise and industry knowledge to the table.”
