Energy giant Equinor has stuck a deal with IKM Subsea for the provision of ROV inspection services, project management, planning and engineering services.
IKM Subsea, which has offices in Aberdeen and Newcastle, has signed a two-year deal with the Norwegian firm.
Jan Vegard Hesten, director of operations at IKM Subsea, said: “The market appreciates the cost-effective model we are working for. This is yet another important step for us as a company and organization.”
The terms of the deal were set out within an agreement already agreed between IKM Subsea and Norske Shell.
The Siam Pride vessel has been provided from Norske Shell to Equinor for this contract.
