Oil and gas major BP said yesterday that production at its North Sea Valhall platform was unlikely to resume until the end of August after a fire.
All 638 people on the installation were evacuated and operations were halted last month because of the blaze. BP said modifications and possibly repairs would have to be completed before production could restart.
