The chief executive of flexlife, an Aberdeen specialist in subsea project and integrity management, is attending Offshore Europe with a view to further progressing its international growth strategy.
Stuart Mitchell said: “It has been exceptionally busy 12 months. We have expanded operations in Brazil to increase our capacity across South America, have appointed a new vice-president of business development for North America and have recently opened a new base in Newcastle.
“Offshore Europe is a fantastic forum for meeting prospective new clients and making industry contacts from around the globe.”

GLOBAL marine safety specialist Survival Craft Inspectorate (SCI) said it was exhibiting at Offshore Europe for the first time in response to growing interest from the energy sector.
On show is the SC85FA, a new lifeboat built specifically to meet the Health and Safety Executive’s “big persons in lifeboats” guidance.
SCI said the SC85FA was of interest to the offshore energy market because it met the requirement that lifeboats must be able to carry passengers weighing up to 98kg (15 stone 6lb).

North-east company NOV Asep Elmar is demonstrating its latest products to delegates at Offshore Europe.
The Westhill firm, which designs and manufactures wireline pressure-control equipment and winches, is also hosting open-house events throughout the exhibition for delegates to view a first-hand demonstration of the results of its research and development, including its Nessie technology.

CONTITECH Beattie, a seller of high-pressure hoses to the North Sea oil and gas sector, is launching the latest addition to its range at the show: a new electric-driven hose-loading station.
