PETROBRAS has made an oil find in offshore Brazil acreage dropped by Shell.
The find was made on Campos Basin block BM-C-25, which was previously held 45% by Shell and 55% by Petrobras.
It was the second time within days that Petrobras announced a discovery in an area that was formerly held by a foreign company – the other was in block BM-S-3, in the Santos Basin.
