ABERDEEN company Rock Solid Images (RSI), formerly Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping, said yesterday that it had been awarded its fourth project in US unconventional-shale plays.
The company – which provides advanced geophysical processing and interpretation consulting services to the oil and gas industry – said revenue from contracts relating to the extraction of hydrocarbons from shale had exceeded £680,000.
Gareth Taylor, president of RSI, said the firm was “at the vanguard of geophysical companies helping to open up these important new resources”.
