Oil and gas firm Dana Petroleum said today it had taken on three new executive directors and will be recruiting more in coming months as it looks to grow its business.
The Aberdeen firm, which was taken over by the Korean National Oil Company (KNOC) in October 2010 last year, said it was building its team to helps its strategy of growing production and reserves in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and beyond.
It has taken on Jill Reid as group general counsel and company secretary. She joins from Shell UK, where she was senior legal counsel for deal delivery, strategy and portfolio management for eight years and prior to that legal manager based in Aberdeen.
Stuart Payne, group HR director, has also joined from Shell, where he was vice president of HR for exploration and commercial, based in Houston.
Andrew McCallum, director of group communications and external affairs, has joined from Gatwick Airport where he spent three years as executive director of communications and external affairs.
Before that he was group head of corporate reputation at Centrica.
Dana’s group chief executive, Marcus Richards, said: “This is a very exciting time for Dana. Our partnership with KNOC creates a unique opportunity to grow the business to become a leading international oil and gas company.
