THE scene is set for a record-breaking All-Energy 2010, spurred on by UK offshore wind Round Three awards, plus the first marine renewables round and Scottish offshore wind awards.
The UK’s largest renewable energy exhibition and conference is being staged on May 19-20 in Aberdeen – its home and right on the doorstep of Big Oil’s North Sea supply chain, which will become hugely important to offshore renewables, too.
This year’s exhibition is larger than ever. So, too, is the conference. And the ever-popular “Giant Networking Evening” returns to its traditional “home” at Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre.
New features of this year’s show, the 10th in the annual series, include a growing programme of “side events”, including a series of free market briefings and business meetings throughout the two days in the UK Energy Excellence Centre run by UK Trade & Investment, plus a pre-event wave and tidal workshop organised by EG&S KTN and RenewableUK looking at installation, moorings and connections. There will also be a jobs fair on day two, and an “Education Day”.
Free online registration is now open at www.all-energy.co.uk, and Vattenfall is once again the principal sponsor.
