Oil industry technical advisor DNV GL has appointed Tim Roff as market sector leader for the UK onshore gas industry.
Mr Roff will focus on developing and introducing new DNV GL services to the owners and operators of the gas network infrastructure.
He has more than 25 years’ experience in technical, managerial, and commercial, previously working with the HSE and the Health and Safety Laboratory.
Mr Roff, said: “In order to grow and prosper through the energy transition, the UK onshore gas sector must overcome challenges to provide a more affordable, reliable and sustainable gas supply to UK homes and businesses.
“Our key approach, in partnership with infrastructure owners and operators, is to drive innovation to deliver smarter, reliable and more efficient services to improve levels of customer satisfaction.”

Tim is a chartered engineer and member of both the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers.
He holds a MBA from Loughborough Business School of Economics and a MSc in Engineering Geology from the University of Leeds.
