AUSTRALIAN downhole tool provider, Peak Well Systems, has followed up the initial field trials of its 4 1/2-inch “Torque Action Debris Breaker” with a smaller version designed for 2 7/8-inch to 4 1/2-inch tubing where the build-up of scale reduces productivity.
In its first deployment with international service provider SGS Australia, the tool significantly reduced intervention time by over one-and-a-half days on one well, allowing production to resume faster than ever before.
