ENVIROCO said yesterday it had landed a seven-year contract to provide waste-management and industrial-cleaning services to Shell in the UK worth about £50million.
The firm is a subsidiary of Aberdeen-based ASCO, an international oil and gas logistics group and the deal extends Enviroco’s 10-year relationship with Shell.
Enviroco managing director Dan Taylor said: “This contract with Shell offers both of us a great opportunity to move waste management and industrial cleaning on to another level in terms of both service and local treatment.
“We are absolutely delighted to continue this partnership through the provision of local, high-quality environmental services, including training and advisory support, container supply and drill-cuttings management.”
ASCO boss Billy Allan said: “Shell is one of our major clients and we are delighted to be able to extend our relationship with it.”
Gregory Andrews, Shell logistics manager for Europe, said: “We will be taking advantage of locally provided waste-management solutions that enable us to improve our environmental and cost performance, while pursuing our goal of zero harm to people or the environment.”
