Wood has secured a new contract with German oil company Wintershall for work on the Brage offshore platform, based west of Bergen, Norway.
The deal includes engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) associated with well hook-up on the facility.
The contract goes into effect immediately.

“Our successful track record of delivering well hook-ups on assets across the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) combined with the extensive EPCIC experience of our teams and ability to provide robust safety and assurance, positions us ideally to deliver this contract.
“Wood has decades of experience working on the NCS and this award further achieves our strategic focus on growing our foothold as a modifications service provider in Norway and Europe.”
