MUNRO’S Travel Group, of Aberdeen, said yesterday that bookings had already started to come in for the annual trip to the world’s most important oil and gas show.
The travel firm and the Press and Journal are organising their regular visit to the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) being held in Houston at the start of May.
Munro’s managing partner Jack Burnett said they were sending out about 500 programmes this week to previous delegates, adding: “We are expecting the usual rush of early bookings for OTC. We have 350 rooms allocated at the delegation’s HQ hotel, the Hilton Houston Post Oak, and I expect they will all be gone by the end of February.
“We took more than 400 people to OTC 2009 and I am anticipating a similar result in 2010.”
This year’s event attracted around 67,000 people from all corners of the world.
Next year’s show runs from May 3-6.
Anyone who would like to receive a programme, or who would like more information, should contact the Munro’s hotline on 01224 261865.
