
Aberdeen energy service company RBG has been sold to Dutch group Stork Technical Services (STS) in a private-equity-backed deal, it was announced yesterday.
The value of the deal, backed by private-equity partnership Arle Capital, was not disclosed but is believed to be between £150million and £250million.
Leaving aside a £50million payment to cover working-capital financing, Stork’s acquisition should land RBG chairman John Ray tens of millions of pounds.
