Gulf Marine Services (GMS) is searching for a new chief financial officer after its current one gave notice of his intention to resign.
John Brown will step down following the firm’s next annual general meeting, which is scheduled for Tuesday 28 May.
Mr Brown has been with the company, which has a base at Westhill, since its initial public offering in March 2014.
A search is now underway for his replacement.
Chairman Simon Heale said: “John has been an integral member of the GMS leadership team and I wish to express our gratitude for his valuable contribution and wish him all the very best for the future.”
Earlier this year GMS said frustrating delays had led to pre-tax losses for the first half of 2018.
However, it said the work starting at later dates will result in a stronger set of results next year.
