Kreuz Subsea has won a multi-million pound contract with India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) in the Arabian Sea.
The energy services firm said it is worth between £11.5million – £15.3m and the work will take place over the course of two years.
It will inspect 27 offshore jackets in the the Mumbai High North, Mumbai High South, Heera, Neelam and Bassien assets in the Arabian Sea, off the coast of Mumbai.
The Kreuz Glorious diving support and construction vessel has been mobilised to carry out the contract, involving 50 Kreuz workers.
CEO AJ Jain said: “India has always been a key growth area for the business and with the recently approved government fiscal incentives expected to drive production, this provides ongoing prospects for global service providers like Kreuz Subsea.
