New work for major oil and gas operators, drilling companies, floating production storage and offloading operators and power generation plants has reeled in £1.1 million for Add Energy in Aberdeen.
The 11 contracts, all won in the past six months, have been a major boost for the Norwegian energy consultancy services provider’s Granite City-based asset and integrity management (Aim) team.
They cover a range of specialist services for new clients in the UK, Norway, Denmark, Kazakhstan and the US – further cementing the company’s global presence.
Aim division vice-president Damon Bowler said: “These additional contracts underpin our capabilities and further strengthen the foundations for our continued global growth.
“I’m incredibly proud of our people for the hard work and dedication shown in helping to secure this new business.”
Add’s Scottish Aim business, employing 97 people in Aberdeen and Houston in the US, turned over £17m last year and this is expected to grow to around £20m by the end of 2019.
A new operations manager, Jody Lusher, was hired recently to help with further international expansion.
Mr Bowler said: “We have ambitious plans to further expand in Houston and the Middle East and are investing time and resources into new asset management software, Aim-Hi, due to launch in the first quarter of 2019.”
