ATR Group reveals its latest acquisition at OTC today. It has bought Bridon International’s Aberdeen-based lifting service division for an undisclosed sum.
The deal underlines ATR’s growth strategy, which involves doubling turnover in three years and follows its acquisition of Bridon International’s business in Baku in September and investment of about £500,000 to develop the lifting service business and introduce the group’s hydraulics business in the Caspian.
The latest buy adds inspection and certification services and significantly expands on ATR’s range of specialist lifting equipment and accessories. ATR Lifting Services will be led by Andrew Paterson.
