POSITIVELY the last Burns Supper of the season was held the other night by the Aberdeen office of the global IT services firm EDS.
About 100 attended the event in the city’s Marcliffe Hotel and enjoyed music, verse and song.
Five girl singers from the Music 4 You group, aged between 12 and 15, set the ball rolling before Andrew Sutherland addressed the haggis.
Actors Sian Ross and Stephan Vincent, of Baudrans Productions, dressed up in costume for the principal toasts, accompanied by pianist Gregor Blamey.
Fiddler Dave Morrice did a solo spot, accompanied by his wife, Diane. Both are with the Last Resort Band.
