ABERDEEN oil and gas consultant Xodus Group said yesterday it had taken on 12 more subsea specialists after securing £4.5million of new work.
The firm’s workforce expansion is part of plans to grow its subsea business, with four new service lines having been added recently.
A new subsea director for Europe, Graeme Rogerson, has also been appointed to drive forward the business on the Continent. Mr Rogerson said: “Our integrated consultancy service now has some of the industry’s most innovative subsea talent.”
Xodus employs more than 270 people at offices in the Granite City, Orkney, London and Perth, Australia.
The new recruits have more than 150 years’ experience between them and, combined with the new services, will support the recently won contracts. Xodus director Richard Heard said: “We are delighted to have assembled a world-beating subsea team, which will deliver a superior and fully integrated service to our global client base.”
