OIL and gas recruitment firm OIE Services has set a target to more than double its turnover next year.
The company, which is owned by Aberdeen entrepreneur Mark Cavanagh, said it expected to turn over £1.7million this year but wanted that figure to rise to £4.2million in 2012 after it expanded into new markets including Australia and Brazil.
Recruitment manager Keith Ogilvie said: “There is a rising demand for qualified people in the areas of asset integrity and maintenance and an apparent shortage of candidates.
“We’re growing steadily and to keep up with demand we’ve expanded our team, bringing on board new graduates.”
