GETTING the most from mature fields and new development frontiers in the North Sea is the focus of a north-east event today.
Baker Hughes is holding its first UK Techno Day 2010 at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.
The technology showcase will feature speakers from the industry in addition to Baker Hughes leaders.
Keynote speaker is Leo Koot, managing director of TAQA Bratani.
Gary Rich, president of Baker Hughes in Europe, said: “The Techno Day fosters a deeper discussion on critical applications that drive our customers’ business and connects them in a peer group framework to openly address common challenges.
“Likewise, it affords our scientists and engineers the chance to hear direct customer feedback, which sharpens our focus on how we can better serve our UK customers.
“This event provides our customers an opportunity to engage with Baker Hughes on a different level, away from the pressures of day-to-day operations.”
