AKER Qserv, the well-intervention, process and pipeline service specialist, has announced two new appointments to boost its long-term growth strategy.
Graeme Wood has joined the Portlethen-based firm as process and pipeline operations director. He was previously operations director with Vroon Offshore Services in Aberdeen.
Garry Michie has been promoted by Aker Qserv from general manager to UK well-service operations director, having established an extensive operational track record in the sector.
The company, formerly Qserv, was formally renamed Aker Qserv on Monday after being acquired by Aker Solutions last year.
Aker Qserv director Ciaran Dreelan said: “Over the period since the acquisition we have worked to ensure we make the most of the strategic fit between our respective services and we are now seeing the benefits of that.
“That integrated approach is set to develop further in terms of targeting work both in the North Sea and in international markets.”
