AMEC, the international engineering and project-management company, has been awarded a two-year contract extension in the North Sea.
The multimillion-pound deal is for BG Group’s UK assets.
AMEC said this extension follows the successful delivery of an existing three-year contract.
John Pearson, managing director of AMEC’s Europe and West Africa business, said: “The award of this contract demonstrates our good relationship with BG Group and our ability to offer value and expertise in the mature and often challenging environment of the North Sea.
“I am confident of our performance, and look forward to a further two years and hopefully many more years of supporting BG Group and their assets.”
More than 300 people work for AMEC on the BG contract.
