GETTING a hole in one was the dream for guests attending Rigmar Services Limited’s first annual golf outing at Peterculter Golf Club last week.
The three-year-old company’s event attracted 42 golfers, including clients, suppliers and members of staff.
Bosses at the emergent Aberdeen-based offshore industry service supplier had generously offered a new Porsche Boxster Spyder to anyone sinking a hole in one at the eighth.
Despite playing in perfect weather conditions and having Turnberry pro golfer Ross Leeds on hand to adjudicate and offer tips, sadly, no one succeeded, although several came close.
The overall winner was Geoff Cotton of Seawell.
Mr Leeds, who is sponsored by Rigmar, said: “The entire event was a huge success, with some fantastic golf played throughout the day.
“I am already looking forward to next year’s event.”
The company’s next big social gathering will be the Touch of Tartan Ball for Children 1st, for which it is a main sponsor.
