Plans have been lodged to demolish the former Aberdeen base of an oil and gas firm.
Silverburn House in Bridge of Don has been earmarked for demolition by owners Parklands View LLP.
It is unclear what the Manchester firm will replace the former Baker Hughes, a GE Company (BHGE) headquarters with.
The building was put up for sale at an auction in December with a guide price of £1 million, but it is not known how much the office was officially bought for.
A catalogue issued as part of the sale says the property “may benefit from conversion” to other uses, such as housing.
The demolition warrant submitted to Aberdeen City Council next week details £175,000 of work to demolish the office block and an associated link corridor in the boundary of the site.
Lodged through Aberdeen-based agency Space Solutions, the local authority has set a target date of May 14 for a decision to be made.
