Italian oil and gas contractor Saipem has announced a multi-million deal with Repsol Norge.
The contract will see Saipem undertake the offshore drilling of a well at one of Repsol’s Norwegian assets.
The contract will begin in the third quarter of 2019.
Work will be carried out by the Scarabeo 8 drilling unit.
The deal with Repsol was announced alongside another deal in the Middle East, however the Milan-headquartered firm would not disclose the details of the deal.
Saipem claim both contracts total nearly £80 million.
