PROSPECT, an Aberdeen-based subsidiary of subsea service firm Hallin Marine, said yesterday it was poised to grow its workforce from 50 to about 100 employees within two years.
It also said it was extending its HQ at 28 Carden Place later this year to accommodate about 15 new recruits. Prospect, which provides engineering design and analysis services to clients worldwide, said the around-50 jobs being created would be in the UK and abroad.
To support international expansion the firm is launching a Singapore operation this year, adding to established regional offices in the US and Norway.
UK business director Matt Straw said: “In 2008, revenue from our global operation increased by record levels to £4million and, with demand for Prospect’s design and analysis engineering services increasing, we look forward to another successful year.”
Prospect added it was strongly positioned to execute its recruitment plans amid the global downturn.
