Statoil Petroleum's wildcat well 15/8-2 near Sleipner was found to be dry, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate said today.

Statoil Petroleum's wildcat well 15/8-2 near Sleipner was found to be dry, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate said today.

Statoil Petroleum’s wildcat well 15/8-2 near Sleipner was found to be dry, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate said today.

It said the well, close to the Sleipner Vest field in the Norwegian North Sea, encountered both the Hugin and Sleipner formations.
