FAST expanding engineering consultant Xodus Group has made two senior appointments to support its strategy for further international growth.
Nigel Ross joins the Aberdeen company as business-development director from Wood Group GTS, where he was global key account director.
Maggie Leitch has been appointed global director for technical safety and risk and joins from PSN, where she was global head of safety and environmental engineering.
Xodus chief executive Colin Manson welcomed the duo to the team. He said: “We are very pleased to be appointing two high-calibre industry specialists and these new positions will help to greatly strengthen our management team as we continue to expand in the UK and new markets overseas.”
Xodus is a multi-discipline engineering consultant providing technical solutions to the oil and gas and low-carbon industries. Employing more than 400 people, it has offices across Europe, Africa and the Americas.
In June, the firm said it aimed to create hundreds of jobs in the coming years after it received £10million of investment. Xodus said it would add dozens of people to its 200-strong north-east workforce after signing a deal which has been hailed as a turning point for the firm.
Its cash boost came from two investment vehicles: Sunrise Energy Group and the Simmons Parallel Energy Fund, which put in £6million and £4million respectively.
The fresh funding led to a shake-up in the shareholding of Xodus, however, themanagement retained a majority stake.
