SAFEWELL Solutions, a Banchory firm which develops air-purity analysers, is to launch its Mk 2 analyser in association with global business partner Donaldson Filtration on Thursday at its Brathens Business Park premises.
The new version follows success with its Mk 1 analyser, of which hundreds of units have been deployed in the oil and gas industry.
Customers include oil operators, oil service companies, hire companies and onshore industrial firms.
SafeWell was founded by Banchory man Ed Gardyne, 48, and began trading in July 2007. Turnover for the current year is forecast to be £400,000.
Mr Gardyne, who owns the business and is its technical director, said further growth was expected following investment of £50,000-plus – all self-funded from profits – in products and services.
SafeWell employs five staff directly but has a wide range of subcontractors to call on.
