OIL & Gas UK chief executive Malcolm Webb followed in the footsteps of some of Scotland’s top politicians and business leaders when he delivered the keynote speech at the 2010 Young Professionals in Oil and Gas charity dinner at the beginning of October.
More than 320 people attended the black-tie event at the Marcliffe Hotel and Spa in Aberdeen, which was organised by leading professional services firms Deloitte and McGrigors LLP, and sponsored by Brewin Dolphin.
The sixth annual dinner marked the culmination of a series of seminars which provide an information-sharing and networking forum for young people working in the energy sector.
Guests were entertained by Glaswegian comedian Kevin Bridges, and all funds raised at the event will go towards the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
