Triple Olympic gold medallist Sir Chris Hoy was at Offshore Europe yesterday.
The Scottish record-breaking cyclist was at Lloyd’s Register’s to talk to visitors at the risk-management group’s stand about cycling, training, and the secrets of his success.
Delegates were then able to put what they had been told into practice with a cycle challenge over 0.3 miles on a stationary bike.
Sir Chris also appeared at Lloyd’s Register’s dinner event last night to talk about his Olympic experiences, and present a £3,000 donation to local charity VSA Children Family Services on behalf of the company.
The Olympian said: “I have been very impressed by what I have seen of the exhibition so far.”
Fellow Olympic gold medal winner Victoria Pendleton was also at OE yesterday on ContiTech Beattie’s stand to help it launch two hose products.
