Engineering and technology firm Apollo has clinched a deal with Spirit Energy for its data management product, KnowHow.
Aberdeen-headquartered Apollo will manage integrity data for all Spirit’s equipment including topsides, subsea and onshore terminals.
The contract value was not disclosed, but is understood to be worth a low six-figure sum,
Apollo KnowHow was designed to allow a client’s integrity data to be managed from one source across all assets.
Deployment of the solution began at the end of April and went live within 100 days.
Douglas Sinclair, Apollo’s digital applications manager, said “we are delighted that Spirit Energy chose Apollo KnowHow as their data management partner.
“It justifies our belief in giving our clients back control of their data.
“The tool has been designed to be quick to deploy and really easy to use.
This is our first large scale deployment and to have gone live within 100 days is a huge testament to the product and the team.”
Spirit Energy Asset Integrity Lead, Gavin Haggart said: “We partnered with Apollo because we wanted one data management tool for all our pressure vessels, piping and structures.
“In addition, the KPI dashboard offers a reduction in monthly reporting with live data now being used to review plan attainment, anomaly management and defined life repairs.”
