CRAIG International Supplies (CIS) announced expansion of its operations yesterday.
The oilfield procurement business is moving to new premises at Bridge of Don.
The division of Aberdeen-based Craig Group is also looking to set up more overseas bases.
CIS will be moving to 15,000 square feet of warehouse and office accommodation on Denmore Industrial Estate later this month.
The company said the increased warehouse space would allow it to expand its stock to meet increasing client demand.
Total investment in the new premises is about £1.5million.
David Allan, managing director of CIS, said of the foreign expansion plans: “With North Sea operations becoming more pan-European, Norway becomes much more attractive to us.
“There are opportunities for new business coming out of Norway, and having a base there would enable us to be in serious contention.
“We are also seriously considering setting up in Dubai as the Middle Eastern hub would give us an ideal location that would – along with Aberdeen, Norway, Houston and Cape Town – effectively close the loop for us in terms of full global coverage.”
CIS, which celebrates the 10th anniversary of its establishment this year, has annual turnover of £30million.
