LOW3 is a prototype of sustainable housing that reduces energy consumption and is made of renewable materials.
It is being designed and built by students a the Universitat Politècnica of Catalunya (UPC), in Spain.
A group of 40 students from the School of Architecture of the Vallès (ETSAV), co-ordinated by the faculty, has embarked on an adventure – to design and build a prototype “bioclimatic” solar house.
It is known as the LOW3 (low energy+low impact+low cost) house.
