THERE’S nothing like being prepared for an emergency in the energy business.
Just ask Petrofac Training, which has just launched its fourth UK major emergency management simulator (Mem), costing £120,000, and now one of two installed at its Altens training centre in Aberdeen.
The other two are at the firm’s base in Montrose.
Guests were welcomed to Altens for a launch party by the firm’s regional director for Europe, Mike Comerford.
He said: “We have had to recruit three new and experienced members of staff for Altens to meet demand for our services.”
