North-east technology specialist Red Spider has strengthened its position in America with a new operational base in Houston.
The Westhill company is working on its first US project in the country.
Red Spider launched two new products recently and invested £1.5million in increasing its fleet of equipment to respond to growing customer demand. The firm said it was on track to turn over £9.45million this year, rising to £20million in 2013.
US sales manager John O’Hara has been joined at OTC by chief executive Steve Nicol, who said: “Having an operational base in Houston ensures we have products on the ground to deliver short mobilisation times.
