SIMMONS & Company International Limited has appointed Ken Murray as a non-executive adviser.
The energy investment bank says Murray brings a wealth of experience to its table, having spent more than 35 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, 24 of those as partner in charge of its energy practice in Aberdeen.
Houston-headquartered Simmons has seen considerable growth of its Eastern Hemisphere headquarters since it was set up in Aberdeen a decade ago.
It is over that period that Murray and the bank’s CEO, Colin Welsh, have gradually got to know one another and the decision to appoint him to a non-exec role is designed to strengthen the management team.
Murray said: “I am delighted to take up this role and look forward to working with the team at Simmons whom I have known and respected for many years.”
