A UK ENERGY business-support organisation is leading a market visit to explore opportunities in the oil and gas and renewables sectors in Norway.
NOF Energy, with help from UK Trade and Investment, is running the trip to investigate export prospects between September 19 and 23, taking in visits to Oslo and Stavanger.
Delegates will learn more about supply-chain requirements and will have chances to network.
Areas covered will include new onshore and offshore wind capacity and the possibility of developing electricity interconnectors, which could link the UK and Norwegian national grids.
NOF director business development Joanne Leng said: “The UK supply chain is held in high regard by the Norwegian energy market through many years of trading between the two countries. The arranged market visit will enable companies to develop solid business relationships to raise their profile in Norway.”
