COMPUTING service provider Virtual Stream has secured a clutch of contracts worth more than £200,000 in the past few months.
In response to this success, the Aberdeen firm is recruiting extra personnel and expects its workforce to double over 12 months to eight.
Some the contracts have involved Virtual Stream managing large information technology projects and implementing systems for companies in the oil and gas industry, among them Maersk Oil and Subsea 7.
Virtual Stream director Russell Robertson says he is delighted with the company’s recent success and believes it can look forward to the next 12 months with continued confidence.
He added: “We are thrilled to have secured a number of significant contracts in recent months and to reach the £200,000 mark is just fantastic. The technologies we have implemented have enabled the firms to deliver on key business requirements, while keeping costs under control.”
Virtual Stream, based at Bon Accord House, in Riverside Drive, provides a range of services including application delivery, virtualisation and core computing infrastructure. The company is a Microsoft certified partner, Citrix Solutions adviser and VMware enterprise partner.
