A DELEGATION of seven UK companies is heading to Monaco to showcase their technologies and expertise at a global conference and exhibition focused on the subsea oil and gas industry.
Subsea UK is hosting the British presence at Deep Offshore Technology (DOT), which kicks off today for two days. Subsea UK chief executive Alistair Birnie said: “While the North Sea will continue to offer significant opportunities, so does the expansion into increasingly deeper and more challenging fields in other provinces around the world.
“Fluctuating oil prices and the banking crisis have slowed the speed of growth in recent months and make it even more imperative for UK companies to grasp new international opportunities.”
The seven firms making the trip to the south of France are BPP-Tech, Exsto UK, First Subsea, flexlife, Optical Metrology Services, Rotech Subsea and Utec Survey.
