ABERDEEN’S All-Energy show, the UK’s largest renewable-energy exhibition and conference, has been awarded runner-up spot in the Advocate Award at the British Renewable Energy Awards.
The award is for the non-governmental organisation, campaign, publication or association that has done most to enhance awareness of renewables in the public and/or key opinion formers.
Judith Patten, project director of the annual show held each May at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, said: “We were thrilled to be shortlisted and then to win runner-up spot.
“It is a real feather in the cap of an exhibition and conference to be considered so much a part and parcel of the industry it serves that it gains recognition in this way.
“We’d like to thank the Renewable Energy Association and the panel of judges for this accolade.”
