EXHIBITORS at this week’s Australasian Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference in Perth, Western Australia, include some familiar names in the north and north-east.
Orkney and Surrey-based Opus, a company focused on improving the environmental performance of oil and gas production, will join Aberdeen inspection firm Inspectahire and other Scottish businesses at the event.
They are looking to further expand their global reach by attending the three-day show, which starts tomorrow.
Opus and Inspectahire are part of a pavilion organised by Scottish Development International, the joint-venture between the Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise, and Highlands and Islands Enterprise. Inspectahire managing director Cailean Forrester said: “The Australasian market offers huge potential for us, particularly the oil and gas sector.”
Meanwhile, Opus business Development manager Rik Dawson is taking part in a UK Trade and Investment trade mission to Brazil this week.
Glen McLellan, the firm’s engineering manager, said: “These trips will provide important opportunities to further spread the Opus name on an international level.”
